Millie’s Mission is our rescue fund, dedicated to assist rescues with the high costs associated with rescuing mill dogs.
What happens after mills are shut down?
As we work to shut down puppy mills, we believe that we have an obligation to assist in securing the rescue and safety of dogs from mills. Rescue organizations often do not have the funds to rescue mill dogs because of the expense involved. Millie’s Mission was established to provide financial support to rescues that will enable them to take on this responsibility.
If you are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and are interested in funding through Millie’s Mission, please complete the Millie’s Mission application. Please submit completed application, as well as before/after photos of the rescued dogs, vet estimates/invoices and email all of these items to firstname.lastname@example.org or mail to The Puppy Mill Project, 1341 W. Fullerton, Suite 353, Chicago, IL 60614.
Please be sure to indicate the amount of money you are requesting, in section 6 of the application. We typically make grants between $250 – $2,000.
Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
